Trying

I'm trying to write. There's a cat in my lap, and I can't reach the keys as well as I would like. And I'm watching a sappy british comedy which my companions are busy critiqueing.

Either way I'm still alive-- and I haven't been traveling. I have been locked up in study and am happy to report that the academic adventure continues to be rewarding.

I'll be going home for Christmas...
